Well, we got about 11″ inches of snow last week, with some negligible flurries after Thursday.
As for the next coming days, we’re in the region, forecast-wise, expected to get 1 to 1.5 feet of new snow this week.
Well, at least I get photo opportunities in the process. And surprisingly, we didn’t lose power. Last week, anyway.
I’ve been testing out the exposure/focal lock feature of the iPhone Camera app… something I didn’t even know was a feature until recently. It’s what makes these two shots so… crisp?
Of course, it would be better if I had new subjects.
Still, you can find interesting patterns anywhere.
Here’s an atypical case of the sun behind a small cloud, where the rest of the sky is still lit in daylight, but there isn’t any direct light.
Until the clouds pass, and everything is bright again.
And like last time, as days passed, it was clearing up well.
Before the next round of snow. And round and round we go.
And official spring is supposed to be one week away! Ugh!
Well, I guess it could be worse. Instead of shoveling a finite amount of snow in Vacationland, we could be living in tornado alley or typhoon city.
Okay, so I’m not really saying anything new in all of this. Another year, another load of snow. Maybe there’s value in the first-hand news, from my perspective, despite the redundancies. And maybe the redundancies actually help to introduce new followers to my blog. Hi, new followers! 👋
But one thing is certain: I need to go to bed. Good night/morning, new followers! 👋
