Ice on the ground
hurts my knees;
wind gusts, around
shake ice from trees.
It shouldn’t have to be so hard
to walk outside these days.
But what can I say?
I can be stubborn
in my day-to-day ways.
It’s a winter wonderland
And it’s not officially winter!
The greens have sprouted.
And yeah, you know it’s a cooler climate when it takes until May for them to show. But they’re here now. And, as you can see, with the wet leaves, it’s been raining lately.
One day— probably the 4th— it was partly cloudy, such there was drizzle at the same time you could see blue in the skies.
