The new year begins where the previous left off. And where we live, that means winter is still lingering around, with snow (and ice).
Eventually, that white stuff clears up.
Revealing the landscape, cityscape or… townscape once more. And plants can begin to grow anew.
Unless it snows again.
In some places, snow banks can grow over your head.
Winter and blue skies are not mutually exclusive.
Just as mall entrances and snow aren’t mutually exclusive.
Of course, by now, you’re probably sick of seeing snow.
But you have to admit, a frozen pond… stands out.
Hard to find snow from up here. (There probably was some on the ground, below.)
The dead leaves were eventually… leaving.
A few days after my birthday, I got this feeling— like a whole new world was opening up to me.
Whatever it was, it seems I focused too much on the shadows for that world to be realized.
Not to mention that certain… emptiness.
But we’re back on the road in no time. So it becomes a slow process… trying to get the most out of life, while at the same time I live with this darkne—
Noooo, not more snow!
Well, okay, the rain is worse, in a way, given my holey shoes.
Never-ending winter and messy, raining… bleak spring— by now, I’m sure you’d all want to see the better half of the seasons.
And that’s part IV. Hopefully, I will get that up before February.
