Leaf on tar, hard focus

A Year In Photos: 2017 (Part III)

(Jan 4, 2017 4:48 p.m.)

The new year begins where the previous left off.  And where we live, that means winter is still lingering around, with snow (and ice).

(Feb 3 1:29 p.m.)

Eventually, that white stuff clears up.

(Feb 3 3:44 p.m.)

Revealing the landscape, cityscape or… townscape once more.  And plants can begin to grow anew.

(Feb 16 12:54 p.m.)

Unless it snows again.

Outside a Chili’s. (Feb 18 5:25 p.m.)

In some places, snow banks can grow over your head.

(Feb 23 1:09 p.m.)

Winter and blue skies are not mutually exclusive.

(Feb 23 7:11 p.m.)

Just as mall entrances and snow aren’t mutually exclusive.

Not a recommended path to venture down at the time. (Feb 28 3:44 p.m.)

Of course, by now, you’re probably sick of seeing snow.

But you have to admit, a frozen pond… stands out.

Hard to find snow from up here.  (There probably was some on the ground, below.)

Reflection. (Mar 8 4:06 p.m.)

The dead leaves were eventually… leaving.

(Mar 8 4:07 p.m.)

A few days after my birthday, I got this feeling— like a whole new world was opening up to me.

(Mar 8 4:18 p.m.)

Whatever it was, it seems I focused too much on the shadows for that world to be realized.

Hollowed. (Mar 8 4:21 p.m.)

Not to mention that certain… emptiness.

Anjon’s. (Fountain not yet active.) (Mar 13 3:29 p.m.)

But we’re back on the road in no time.  So it becomes a slow process… trying to get the most out of life, while at the same time I live with this darkne—

(Mar 15 1:24 p.m.)

Noooo, not more snow!

(Apr 4 3:33 p.m.)

Well, okay, the rain is worse, in a way, given my holey shoes.

(Apr 6 5:52 p.m.)

Never-ending winter and messy, raining… bleak spring— by now, I’m sure you’d all want to see the better half of the seasons.

And that’s part IV.  Hopefully, I will get that up before February.

Until then…

Regardless of the season, I’ll be eatin’ these.  The crackers, I mean; not the envelopes.  Or the febreze.  (How do you eat febreze? …Don’t answer that.) (Feb 4 3:36 a.m.)
