A path less taken…

So things are moving now, somewhat.  Life-wise, a few windows are visible, and maybe a door or two will open for me.

Very blue skies this Halloween; only some clouds to the west. (Oct 31 3:10 p.m.)

But it takes action for things to actually move, and personally asking questions to know what the heck I’m looking at, let alone know what I’m doing…

Rain a’comin’. (Nov 2 3:26 p.m.)

And so, I am moving.  Not moving out for good (as I should), but moving my feet, and throwing caution to the wind.  Just a bit. …I managed to “capture” two of the blue flies I’ve seen hanging around the front yard, this fall…

(Not uploading the other good photo— featuring another blue-bodied fly, on my index finger because the image captures the underside of my hand; my fingerprints are pretty clear in that one.  Ah, security measures…)

Only a few leaves remain of the “porch plant.” (Nov 2 3:27 p.m.)

At least one of the support groups will be routine.  Thursday before last, I brushed up on pool (pocket billiards) with the AANE group— the one I’m less interested in… though more active, that group is… apparently.  One of the guys — who ended up being my teammate in a two-on-two — helped me out.  It was, from what I recall, the second time I ever played pool in my life.  It turned out no one, in the entire hall, was great; that lessened the pressure.  I scored maybe one pocket, lol.

Likely the only thing I can photograph of the group, haha. (Not a real plant, btw.) (Oct 27 5:07 p.m.)

The following Thursday, with the Saturday group fast approaching and nothing to do, I walked.  It seemed as soon as I left the house, it was raining, lightly.  And then, I hit the road…

running down the road…
Sprinting on tar… with blurry leaves. (Nov 3 5:20 p.m.)

I approached the entrance of a path near our house— a path regarded as private property yet… public.  We border on a fire lane, that the town has access to this area in case of an emergency, but we abut our southern neighbor around the area, so any amount of it may be ours. …I have no idea where the zone borders are.

That Thursday, I decided to venture down the path, and see where it went… Stay tuned for that experience, and more, including some sounds of the outdoors I’ve managed to record. 🙂 Until then…

Lumber at the path entrance. …Stopping myself from uploading the photo of Dunkin’ Donuts cups littered on the ground. (Nov 3 5:21 p.m.)
